UJA Federation provides over $10 million in Jewish day school tuition assistance each year, helping over 2,300 students attend school. As part of Koschitzky Centre strategic plan, we are now actively working to address affordability for middle income families.
The York Region Jewish Community Study, completed in 2016, underscored that affordability is the mainbarrier to accessing Jewish education. With this in mind, the Koschitzky Centre is piloting new middle income initiatives for day schools.
