What is the Tuition Cap Program (tCap) at Leo Baeck?

Under the tCap program at Leo Baeck, your family’s annual tuition will be capped at a percentage of your annual income for the entire time (JK-8) your children are enrolled in the school.

tCap ensures that your tuition costs will not rise as your child advances through their educational journey at Leo Baeck. Once your tuition fee hits the capped amount your tuition fees will be frozen at that level.  In order to benefit from tCap, each year you will have to complete an income form to set that year's tuition cap amount.

Who is Eligible for tCap?

  • The tCap program at Leo Baeck is accessible to families whose oldest child is entering JK, SK or Grade 1 with an annual household income between $150,000 and $300,000. (**If your annual household income is less than $150,000 then you may be eligible for the UJA’s Tuition Assistance (tAssist) program which provides over $10 million in tuition assistance to lower income families that would like to enroll their children into Jewish education.)
  • tCap is focused on tuition costs. Families must still meet all admissions and enrollment requirements of the school to which they wish to apply.
  • Only families whose net assets (assets less liabilities) are less than one million dollars are eligible for this program.
  • * Additional restrictions and conditions may apply for each participating school.
